Once again this year the Owatonna High School boys hockey plays at the Heritage holiday hockey tournament in Duluth. Action begins Monday, December 28.

Five of the eight teams are ranked, led by St. Paul Academy / Summit School at No. 7A. Duluth Denfeld is No. 14A and Mankato West is No. 15A. A pair of Wisconsin entries are also rated. Hudson is No. 5 and Eau Claire Memorial is rated No. 6. Seven of the teams have a winning record.

The Huskies (5-3) are on a four-game winning streak. Their last game was an 8-5 win over South St. Paul on Tuesday, December 15. On Saturday's KRFO coach show, Josh Storm talked about the offensive output of the Huskies and how they will spend the time in practice with the long break between games.

The Huskies play Hudson in the quarterfinals. The Raiders have four shutouts in their five wins. KRFO radio will present coverage of the Tuesday and Wednesday games. Tuesday's game could be on Kat Kountry 105 depending on what time the Huskies play.
