St. John Lutheran Church will host their Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, October 9, at the church, 1301 Lincoln Ave., Owatonna.

The day will begin with early bird sales from 9-10:15AM. A polka worship service will be at 10:30AM. The booths will re-open at 11:30AM and remain open until 2PM. The meal will be served during those hours as well. The menu has a good ol' German flavor to it. Items include roasted pork loin and old fashioned hot dog dinners. These will be complimented with homemade sauerkraut, German potato salad, mashed potatoes, cooked red cabbage and carrots, along with lemonade, coffee and dessert. It's $10 for adults and $5 for ages 10 and younger; age 5 and younger eat free.

There will games available for the kids to play. There will also be a Farmer's Market with garden produce, canned goods, fall mums, fall decorations, baked goods, craft items and St. John Christmas cards.
