A RIVALRY RENEWED !!!!!

After not playing last season (for the first time since 1943) Owatonna and Faribault will meet in a grid iron clash! The 2012 meeting between the two was an unforgettable night! (Though most Faribault fans would rather not be reminded.) The Falcons built a 41-7 halftime lead. 41-7 !! And Owatonna rallied back to win 44-41 on a last minute field goal!

The Huskies are 2-0 after a pair of close wins. The Falcons are 1-1. Each team has had its challenges this season. Owatonna is replacing nearly its entire starting line up from the state title team. Faribault lost its third year quarterback to a hand injury during their pre-season scrimmage.

Friday night's game can be heard on AM 1390 KRFO, online at krforadio.com and on the free RadioPup app for your favorite mobile device.
