New Director for Steele County Clothesline

Maureen Schlobohm was recently named executive director of Steele County Clothesline. She fills the position formerly held by Mary Fink, who recently left the post. Schlobohm was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town.

One of Schlobohm's goals is to expand the hours at Clothesline so they match those of the Steele County Food Shelf, which is located in the same building. To do this, more volunteers are needed. Those interested may either stop by at 155 Oakdale Street or call (507) 451-2550.

Hours are currently noon to 5PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday and 8AM to noon Thursday. Donations are accepted at the back door on Mondays and Tuesdays between 8AM and 5PM.
