Miranda Lambert‘s MuttNation Foundation is mobilizing and looking to help after Hurricane Harvey struck south Texas over the weekend.

A note at the MuttNation Instagram says the staff are looking to transport any animals currently in shelters out of the city so that there is room for pets who were displaced after Harvey. “Plus any other support we can offer,” the caption reads.

“It was important to our AMAZING founder, @mirandalambert that we do our part for her home state!”

Lambert and her mother Bev started MuttNation in 2009 ensure dogs could find homes, and since then she’s been active with adoptions, fundraisers and events like the Nashville Dog Walk that took place during CMA Fest in June. Lambert grew up in Lindale, Texas, which is about 200 miles north of Houston. She was one of a number artists to express sadness and grief after Harvey struck on Friday.

Harvey was a Category 4 storm that has displaced hundreds of thousands and resulted in several deaths and dozens of injuries. Heavy rains continue in the area and the expected downpour may double the amount of rain that has already fallen. Rescue efforts are underway to help those stranded.

Lambert is not alone in the country music effort to provide aid to Texas. Texas natives Josh Abbott Band made their own pledge through their charitable website JAB Cares, where they’re selling a “My Texas” T-shirt, with all proceeds going toward disaster relief efforts in the state. Chris Young donated $100,000 to the Red Cross, and launched a GoFundMe page to raise half a million dollars for relief efforts in Texas where he has family, friends and a home that more than likely faced severe damage from the storm.
