Local Tanks For Thanks Winner

Congratulations to Cynthia Welle-Erwin of Owatonna for being nominated and winning in the Tanks for Thanks program and receiving a gift card redeemable at Cenex.

Welle-Erwin is a teacher and provides books to families in need. She also teaches the English language to those less fortunate adults in the area.

The Tanks for Thanks program, offered through CHS and Cenex, encourages residents to nominate someone they know who does good deeds by helping others.

More than $5,000 is given away each month through Tanks for Thanks from CHS and Cenex retailers. To date, 860 people in Minnesota have been awarded free gas, and more than 15,700 people across the country have been recognized for doing good deeds in their communities.

Each month 100 nominees are drawn, receiving Tanks of Thanks gift cards. Cenex also rewards people they see helping others in the community by giving them Tanks of Thanks gift cards.
