The Little Theatre of Owatonna has announced the cast for its production of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland opening April 29 at the West Hills Auditorium.

The role of Alice will be played by Caroline Nelson, according to a news release on their website. Other roles include

  • Mark Zollner as King of Hearts
  • Jackson Hemann as Dormouse
  • Estela Fernandez as Knave of Hearts
  • Dominic Nelson as Knight
  • William Behne as Humpty Dumpty

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland tells the story of Alice who finds herself in a strange world filled with bizarre characters after falling into the rabbit hole. Performance dates and times are April 29, 30 and May 5, 6 and 7 at 7:30PM and May 1 at 2PM. Tickets are available at littletheatreofowatonna.org.

Alice is the fourth production of the 50th anniversary season of LTO. The performance is from Lewis Carroll's works and adapted by Tim Kelly, with special arrangements through Pioneer Drama Service, according to LTO.

Other featured actors are Lily Sampson, Reid Stauffer, Whitni Minton, Cheryl Smith, Sam Buegler, Ashton Jensen, Katie Maine, Ana Wilker, Lory and Nick Beck, Sarah Friesen, Jon Terrill, Philomena Foxhoven, Emmalynn Friesen, Josef Friesen, Katie Maine and Lila Bartkowiak. The director is Sandee Hardy-Hagen.

Little Theatre of Owatonna is still seeking candidates for its Sarah Foreman Memorial Post-Secondary Scholarship. Auditions are April 30 and May 3 for LTO's summer production of Grease.
