Today is Fudge Day. Now there's a lot of fudge to pick from. My mom would make it at Christmas time every year. I made it for the first time a few years ago at Christmas time with my mom there. It was pretty easy following the directions on the jar and tasty. I do believe it is from Marshmallow Creme.

We tried the fudge with almonds but walnuts are better. Then again my mom puts walnuts in most things she bakes and now I do too. Brownies, banana bread and cookies. Man I now have the munchies. Yummy fudge.

I have also found that cheese factories have good fudge.

Moving up a couple of days, it will be Splurge Day. I don't know if that is bad or good. It is also World Juggling Day. Maybe splurge and take a juggling lesson or maybe buy some simple nonbreakable things and things that won't hurt you or anyone else to try and juggle.

Hooray, summer will be officially here on Monday. Though it looks like so far that this weekend we will be getting another sneak peek at summer with highs around 90. That is when my husband likes to go golfing, so maybe we may splurge and go. It would be fun.

By the way, this is Hermit Week and next week is Find A Mate Week. One extreme to the next. I thought it was a little funny.

Just to mention that June is Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month and Georgia Blueberry Month. It really should be Minnesota Strawberry Month. June is National Smile Month, probably because graduations, being outside and summer in general. Remember the sunblock.

The sun is shining above ... Think Happy Thoughts.
