Lisa’s Logic: Unique April Holidays

April is the month of National Grilled Cheese Sandwich, National Pet, National Straw Hat, also, Frog Month and Math Awareness Month. It may not be too hard to believe but there's more.

This week is National Environmental Week, what with Earth Day and Arbor Day this week. It is also Education Week, National Karaoke Week, Sky Awareness Week, and the last full week in April always is National Princess Week. Then in the middle of the week to the middle of next week is National Tattoo Week.

By the way, it is Dance Week the last week in April into early May. That seems to coincide with Dance Day on the 26th, and on the 29th International Dance Day.

For baseball fans, it is Babe Ruth Day on April 27th. A couple of cartoon characters also get a day in April: Eeyore on the 25th and on the 30th it is Bugs Bunny Day.

One more day to recognize in April would be Adopt a Shelter Pet Day on the 30th.
