Lisa’s Logic: The Month of April

April is the month of National Humor, which makes sense. April Fool's Day is on the first, and it is also International Fun at Work Day. Then on the third, Don't Go to Work Unless it's Fun Day. On the eighth, Eight Track Tape day, that's just funny all by itself. Tweed Day sounds itchy.

April also is International Guitar Month. Perfect for Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, my brother-in-law and basically anyone in any kind of band or solo artist. Or anyone who wants to learn guitar.

It's also Keep America Beautiful Month. Earth Day is April 22. This past weekend, we noticed a couple picking up litter. Cool. It is also Lawn and Garden Month. My husband and I started working on the garden. Bushes were pulled out and then we went looking for something to replace them with, but it was just a little too early.

Last but not least, April is Stress Awareness Month. That probably goes with Walk Around Things Day, Go for Broke Day and Golfer's Day. That has some humor to it too. Well probably the most stressful day, for some, is tax day -- April 15 -- which is next week!

We could remember instead it is Rubber Eraser Day, but since that is the same day as Tax Day, they might be connected. That might have to be changed to Backspace Day.

April showers brings May flowers. Hooray for the colors and blooms of the iris, daffodils and tulips!
