Saturday was the 35th anniversary of the XIII Olympics USA vs. Russia "Miracle" at Lake Placid in New York.

And Sunday was Hockey Day in America. Kind of cool how they coincided.

So on Sunday, we watched some Boston Bruins vs. Chicago Blackhawks. And then we popped in the movie "Miracle" with Kurt Russell as Coach Herb Brooks.

It was good. I knew who won, mainly from when the movie came out and all the discussion about it. But I was still cheering. My cat George likes to lay on me, I try to warn him but since I don't want to disturb him, and I guess he knows that, I don't cheer quite as loud.

So I thought the movie was good the way they worked in the history of the gas shortage, family time, lots and lots of hockey drills and, of course, the games. I also liked that they mentioned what each player has done since the game.

It kind of made me want to watch more Olympics, too. Summer Olympics in Rio next year, and 2018 Winter Olympics will take place in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

The sun is shining above... Think Happy Thoughts.
