"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ..."

Very familiar words right? A new episode of Star Wars will be released on December 18. My husband and I are planning to go see it. We also decided to watch the first six episodes.

We went to the Owatonna library to rent the first three episodes: Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. I sort of remember seeing Episode I in the theater. I remember thinking the first time, "Now who it this?" when a new character was introduced, which was most of them. I could not get the original episodes out of my head. So, it was good to get a refresher course. They were all good.

In Episode II, I noticed when Anakin Skywalker had a moment of the "Dark Side," his Darth music would play.

Then after watching Episode III, it dawned on me why they released the movies in the order that they did. I truly don't remember seeing those two movies so it was like I'd seen them for the first time, maybe it was. It all started putting everything together.

Anyway, it makes sense. That way when Darth tells Luke the big news, it is a total surprise. Even though that's what everyone would talk about right after they saw it.

So, now to watch the next three, even though they are better known to us. That way we are all ready for Star Wars Episode VII, The Force Awakens. I'm kind of excited to see it.

The sun is shining above ... Think Happy Thoughts.
