KSW Helps Owatonna Family
Jim Kenney, Syl Severson and Bob Weller formed KSW in 1971 by using the first letters of their last names to name the business. They began first as a roofing and sheet metal company. When jobs declined, they started servicing furnaces.
Their motto is, "We are professionals and take pride in our work."
KSW became a Lennox dealer in 1972, then added roofing in the '80s. The company built a larger building and relocated to 2800 Park Drive in the mid-'90s.
In 2006, Jim Kenney retired and his son, Mark, now owns the business.
Minnesota and International Lennox dealers such as KSW began "Heat Up Minnesota" in 2012. According to Heatupminnesota.com, 40 participating Lennox dealers are in Minnesota. This program provides a home heating system for a family in need at no charge. Since its start, more than 150 families have received a new high-efficiency Lennox furnace free of charge.
KSW's "Heat Up Minnesota" recipient for 2015 is Nancy Borchert.
