Owatonna wrestling went 2-1 during a home quadrangular Friday night. The Steele County Blades topped Forest Lake 4-2 at Four Seasons Centre.

The Owatonna High School wrestlers sandwiched a pair of Big Nine Conference victories around a loss to No. 2AAA St. Michael-Albertville on Friday night at the Owatonna gym. The Huskies beat Rochester Century 68-9 and Mankato East 57-13. STMA scored a 48-16 win over Owatonna. Riley Becker, Cade King and Brandon Moen each went 3-0 on the night. The Huskies host No. 1AA Kasson-Mantorville on Thursday, January 28, on Take Down cancer night.

The Steele County Blades hosted Stick it to Cancer on Friday. One of the families that will benefit is that of player Chase Lewis, whose sister was recently diagnosed with cancer. Lewis scored two goals in the 4-2 win over Forest Lake. It's the first Blades win in six meetings with the Lakers this season. Lewis scored twice. Clayton Huss and Jesse Aubrecht each scored as well. The Blades host the Lakers again Saturday at 7PM. Sunday Steele County entertains Decatur at 3PM.

Owatonna's adapted floor hockey whipped New Prague 10-1 Friday night.
