Owatonna basketball, hockey and gymnastics teams play on Tuesday. NRHEG boys basketball hosts Maple River in a big match up.

Huskies girls basketball faces Mankato West for the first time this season. Their season-opening game was postponed by bad weather. The Huskies (9-6 overall, 7-4 Big Nine) have won five of their past six games. Tuesday night's game at Mankato West (4-8, 2-8) starts at 7:30PM with coverage on Kat Kountry 105FM.

OHS boys basketball hosts Mankato West at 7:30PM. The Huskies clubbed the Scarlets 75-50 earlier this season. Owatonna is 11-7 overall and 8-6 in the conference.

Owatonna boys hockey plays at Albert Lea for their only meeting of the season, making it a four-point game in the conference standings. The Huskies (10-8-1, 8-4) have won five of their past seven games. Albert Lea (5-12, 4-10) has lost five straight. Game time is 7:30PM on KRFO AM 1390.

In a duel of top 10-ranked teams the No. 2AA OHS gymnastics team entertains No. 9A Austin at 6:30PM Tuesday at the Owatonna Gymnastics Club on the fairgrounds.

Owatonna's adapted floor hockey team plays at Minneapolis Edison at 4:30PM.

 

NRHEG boys basketball hosts red-hot Maple River. The Eagles (17-2, 7-0 in the Gopher Conference) have won eight in a row. The Panthers (13-6, 6-2) have won five straight. Maple River beat NRHEG 62-41 in December in Mapleton. Blooming Prairie's boys go to Medford. The Triton boys play at Zumbrota-Mazeppa.

 

In girls play, Medford is at Blooming Prairie. The Blossoms won the early season match up 46-40. The Tigers have played well lately, winning two of their last four. Medford also held a first half lead over conference leader Waterville-Elysian-Morristown. NRHEG travels to Maple River. Triton entertains Zumbrota-Mazeppa.

 

Dodge County hockey plays Tuesday with the boys at Faribault and Wildcat girls home against Totino-Grace.

Steele County Blades junior hockey hosts Decatur at 7PM at the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna.
