Kiwanis Club Donates to Steele County Food Shelf

As March Food Share Month draws to a close, the Steele County Food Shelf reached its goal of $100,000 and pounds of food.

President Ross Brown of the Kiwanis Club of Owatonna recently made a donation to Steele County Food Shelf Director Stormy Trom and Daniel Struss, Food Shelf board treasurer.

Meanwhile the Kiwanis Noon Club reminds high school seniors that April 15 is the deadline for those seeking Kiwanis college scholarships based on academic achievement and emphasis on volunteer work within the community. Application forms are available from the Owatonna High School counselor's office.
