Meet Fiona. She's the Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week. She was brought in from around Beaver Lake just a couple days ago. Hence, she's a big NRHEG sports fan. Fiona is laid back and quite a lap cat. She's around 9 months old and gets along well with other cats. Fiona has been spayed and micro chipped. She also knows all about the litter box.

Check out the other cats and all the new dogs seeking homes at the Steele County Humane Society web site.

The chill is in the air. If you have outdoor pets they must be provided shelter out of the wind and freezing rain. It's also cold enough for water bowls to freeze so check them every morning if your outdoor pet doesn't have a heated dish.

The next MN Snap clinic will be January 6, 2018. Last year it filled up for the entire year by around mid May. It's advisable to check with them now to see if you qualify for lower cost spay and or neuter services.
