The Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week is Squirrel. Squirrel is a female. How about that? A squirrel without nuts. She gets her name because her tail is so similar to a squirrel's. She's about 13 months old and litter box trained. Squirrel is up to date on her shots and has been spayed. She's been in foster care a little over a month and her adoption fee is $100.

The Humane Society reminds you to keep April 22 open because that is the date for the Owatonna Bark and Rec with the Steele County Humane Society. The 5K Walk/Run Fur Fun will begin at 9AM. Day of race registration will be available. If you wish to register online you have until April 20.
