Meet Tux. He's the Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week. He's a dapper looking cat with those black and white colors. Tux is about 2-and-a-half years old. He certainly can meow. He's a bit shy when he first meets people but then he warms up. He would be best off in a home with older children. Tux really enjoys his catnip.

Tux has been dewormed, microchipped, vet-checked, neutered and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.

We're enjoying a mild start to November, but we know that it can and actually will turn colder. Your pets need clean drinking water just as much in the cold of winter as they do in the heat of summer. Invest in a heated bowl as your animals venture outside this fall and winter. Actually, if anyone has any extra heated pet bowls, the Steele County Humane Society would welcome them to lend out to foster families. They also take pet accessories and dog and cat food and kitty litter.
