The Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week is most appropriately named, Silkie. Take a look at that long fur. She's around 10 months old and has been in foster care for only a few days. This cutie will probably get adopted real soon. She loves to cuddle. Silkie would probably do best in a home with other pets as she's quite sociable and enjoys other pets company.

Go to the Steele County Humane Society to check out the other cats looking for good homes. It appears that there are one or two new cats taken into foster care each week, so check back on a regular basis if you're looking for a furry new friend.

Give your kitty a good brushing to get rid of that old winter hair. I think I can safely say spring is here and it's gonna heat up.
