The Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week is Jack and he's had a rough young life so far.

Jack is around 4 months old and was found nearly frozen just last week. His rescuer found that she was allergic to cats so he's in need of a god home. He's a cuddler and likes to play with other cats. He's been neutered and micro chipped.

Check out the other cats looking for home on the Steele County Humane Society web page.

The Society has sending out an appeal for cat food and cat litter. In recent weeks a large number of cats have been turned into the Humane Society and this suspect this trend will continue. If you have any left over or extra food or litter you may drop it off at the Humane Society office in the industrial park. You may also call them at (507)-451-4512.

The Society is offering a Volunteer Expo on Saturday, February 24 at Spare Time Entertainment in Owatonna. Stop in between 11-2PM to learn about ways that you can help the Humane Society. You can also sign up to help at upcoming fund raisers and events.
