There will be a benefit for one time Steele County Free Fair Manager Jim Gleason on Saturday, March 3. It'll take place 4-8PM at Retrofit which is the former Wal-Mart building in Owatonna. Funds raised will go to help offset medical costs incurred over the last half year or so due to a brain tumor. Gleason resigned as Fair Manager in January due to his illness.

Meal tickets are $10 and on sale at the Fair office, Kottke Jewelers, KC Hall, fair board members and at the door. There will also be a live and silent auction that night. Auction items may be dropped off at the Steele County Free Fair Office weekdays between 8:30-4:30PM through February 28. I've been told that donations of empty baskets are needed. These would be used to hold donated items to create theme baskets. These may be dropped off at the Fair office as well.

Cash donations may also be dropped off or mailed to the Fair office at 640 West Bridge Street in Owatonna. You may also go to the GoFundMe page.
