Jacob Wetterling Remains May Have Been Found

According to a KSTP report, a man suspected in Jacob Wetterling's abduction has given authorities information that lead to the discovery of the remains. Tests are being conducted to find out if the remains are indeed Jacob.

Danny James Heinrich of Annandale has been in jail for almost a year while awaiting trial. He is a person of interest in the case.

Jacob disappeared in October 1989.

KSTP says that Patty Wetterling, Jacob's mother, is not likely to comment until the DNA tests have been completed.
