It’s Strawberry Time At Red Oak Grove

My oh my, 77 years of serving up strawberries. It's time for the annual Strawberry Social at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church this Tuesday, June 12. Serving time will be 11-1PM and 4-7PM. For many it'll be the first berries of the year. The menu will include pulled pork sandwiches, or hot dog along with cole slaw, baked beans and of course strawberries. Take your pick, angel food or shortcake. Ice cream and beverage included for $9. There will also be a kids meal of pulled pork or hot dog with chips, beverage and ice cream with berries for $4.

Take out is available and there will also be crafts, cards, quilts and baked goods. the church is 6 miles south of Blooming Prairie on the Mower-Freeborn Road.
