It's certainly a sport that's caught fire. Look at the interest displayed in High School archery competitions. The 20 Rifle and Pistol Club/Straight River Archery are offering archery classes for beginning youth and advanced youth this Saturday, January 5 at the club.

Beginners ages  7-17 will meet for 6 Saturdays at either 9am or 10am. Equipment will be available during the class time which runs around 50 minutes. The registration fee is $20.

The Advanced class for ages 7-17 will also meet for 6 Saturdays starting at either 8am or 11am. The registration is $30. Students in this group should have previous training and will shoot as much of a 300 Round as possible during class.

Adult and family leagues will be starting the second week in January at the club. Monday and Thursday are target leagues open to individual and families with their own equipment. Tuesday and Wednesday nights are hunter rounds for adults only with your own equipment.
