Lynn Anderson, 67, passed away on Thursday, July 30, of natural causes. She topped the charts with "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden."

Anderson came into the spotlight in 1967 on the Lawrence Welk Show. In 1971, she won a Grammy and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Award.

She appeared with Tom Jones, Bing Crosby and Lucille Ball on TV.

Alex Rocco, 79, died on July 18. He was in The Godfather, The Wedding Planner and many TV shows.

July 9 at age 83, Omar Sharif passed away. He was in Lawrence of Arabia and Dr. Zhivago.

Amanda Peterson, 43, died on July 5. She starred in Can't Buy Me Love and left Hollywood shortly after that.

Dick Van Patten, 86, died from diabetes complications on June 23. He is best known for being the dad on Eight is Enough.

Reynaldo Rey died on May 28 at age 75. He starred in White Men Can't Jump and TV shows including 227 and Sanford.

Anne Meara, 85, died on May 23. Meara starred in TV shows and movies often with her family.

B.B. King, legendary blues musician, died on May 14 at age 89.
