Leading 5-2 entering the bottom of the second inning, the Huskies scored 11 times to put the game out of reach on their way to a 16-2, five-inning victory at Morehouse Park.

Senior catcher Millie Wanous smashed two home runs and had five RBI. She also threw out two base runners, the second of which ended the game in the fifth inning. Sophomore outfielder Kenzie Karsten also blasted a homer over the fence 215 feet away from home plate. She ended up with four RBI. Junior shortstop Elli Rohman had three hits, including a double and triple. The Huskies had 16 hits while improving their record to 2-3.

Sophomore pitcher Tiana Blazek held the Tigers without a hit until the fourth inning. She ended up with a one-hitter and struck out seven batters.

The Huskies committed just one error.

Owatonna hosts Rochester Century on Friday at 5PM at Morehouse. Saturday the Huskies go to Shakopee for a tournament.
