The Steele County Humane Society's Adopt-a-Highway Clean Up will be on Sunday, Nov. 8, weather permitting.

The day will begin at the Owatonna Business Incubator, 1065 S.W. 24th Ave. There will be a short video, donuts and rolls beginning at 9AM. Bring your own beverage, including water to drink while working.

The SCHS bus will transport volunteers to and from the areas.

It is suggested to wear heavy shoes or boots, gloves, hats and long pants. Depending on the weather: sunglasses, sunscreen or a raincoat. It would also help to have a grabber, save you from bending over too much. This highway clean-up will take a couple of hours, and a portion of the walk could be through heavy grass.

MnDOT will provide safety vests and garbage bags.

Please RSVP to Steele County Humane Society -- (507) 451-4512 and leave a message with Ali -- if you are able to help during their Adopt-A-Highway clean up day on Sunday, Nov. 8.

Kindest Cut, low cost spay/neuter services, will be available on Saturday, Nov. 14. Call (763) 486-7729 to learn more.
