How Attractive Are We, Minnesotans?

The dating website and app Clover has released a new study of the most-attractive and least-attractive cities and states in the country. For Minnesotans, there's some good news and some bad news.

Clover claims to have developed a "proprietary scoring system able to accurately assess a person's level of attractiveness." They used their system to analyze data on their male and female users in each city and state to determine which ones had the most-attractive and least-attractive men and women.

For men, the top state was Montana. What? Really? Evidently, Clover's system gives high marks for the "rugged" look. The top city was Jacksonville, Florida. Cowboys and surfers, perhaps?

For women, the top state is Connecticut. Honestly, not sure what to say about that one. And the top city? Manhattan, New York. No surprise there, with all the options women have to beautify themselves in the Big Apple.

As for our fair state, well, Clover gave us mixed results. While Minneapolis ranked #5 for having the most attractive men, the state of Minnesota was listed at #7 for the least attractive women.

Personally, I think they're wrong on that one! I'm married to a Minnesota woman and I think she's beautiful! That sure makes me question their "proprietary system" and its effectiveness. How about you?
