The Steele County Historical Society welcomes Larry Richie for a presentation on July 31st at 7pm at the History Center. Richie is writing a book on the brick makers of Rice and Steele counties when he came across information on the Charles Cornell Pottery based in Owatonna. He will discuss the pottery in his presentation.

The August board meeting will be held August 4th at 7pm at Whispering Oaks in Ellendale. The public is invited.

You're invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony for Gus' Station at the Village of Yesteryear on August 7th at 10:45 am. The restoration of the station was a project of the Ellendale Area Heritage Society who financed the moving and restoration of the building.
