Owatonna basketball will face their nearby rivals from Faribault on Thursday. OHS hockey, wrestling, boys swimming and adaptive floor hockey are all in action, too.

Owatonna's boys basketball team will host Faribault on Thursday night at 7:30PM on KDHL AM 920. The Falcons (9-10 overall, 6-9 Big Nine) topped the Huskies (12-8, 9-7) in a mid-December meeting 56-51 in overtime.

The Huskies girls play at Faribault at 7:30PM on Kat Kountry 105FM. Owatonna (10-7, 8-5) won at Faribault (10-9, 6-9) early in the season 59-43.

OHS boys hockey hosts Northfield at 7PM on KRFO AM 1390. Northfield (15-5, 15-1) outscored Owatonna (12-8-1, 10-4) at Northfield in early January 9-6. The Raiders are on a nine-game winning streak. The Huskies have won six of their past seven games.

Owatonna's wrestlers make the trip to Stillwater for a dual. OHS will be at Faribault on Friday night at 7PM to close out the regular season on KRFO AM 1390. Sections begin February 11.

OHS boys swimming hosts Albert Lea on Thursday at 6PM at the junior high. The adapted floor hockey squad goes to St. Paul Humboldt for a 4:30PM game.

KRFO-area boys basketball includes Goodhue at Blooming Prairie, WEM is at NRHEG, Medford plays at Schaiffer Academy and Randolph is at Triton.

In girls basketball, Blooming Prairie plays a make-up game at Faribault Bethlehem Academy, NRHEG is at WEM and Le Sueur-Henderson goes to Medford.

Thursday night wrestling includes Blooming Prairie at WEM/JWP and Triton is at Stewartville along with Lake City.
