On Thursday Owatonna volleyball will open its home schedule with Red Wing at 7PM. OHS boys soccer will host Rochester Mayo at 7PM. The girls will play at Mayo at 7PM. Local volleyball includes Medford at Blooming Prairie, Maple River at NRHEG and Pine Island at Triton.
Friday's football lineup has Northfield at Owatonna, Blooming Prairie at JWP, GFW at NRHEG, Faribault BA at Medford and Caledonia at Triton. All games are schedule for 7PM. Owatonna volleyball plays in the Marshall tournament Friday and Saturday. OHS boys and girls cross country runs at Faribault. The Steele County Blades junior hockey team opens its season Friday, hosting St. Croix Valley at 7PM at the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna.
