Three area high schools will present their fall plays this weekend. Blooming Prairie is staging a fall musical titled Into the Woods. The characters are from Grimm's Fairy Tales. As a result of a curse from a once beautiful witch, the Baker and his wife are childless. They wander into the woods to find ingredients to reverse the curse and restore the witch's beauty. During their journey they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack in the Beanstalk and others.

Show times are 6:30PM Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11. Friday's show features free admission to veterans affiliated with the VFW or American Legion. Saturday, November 12, is the dinner theater at 6PM followed by the performance at 7:30PM.

The Medford High School fall play is The Twelve Dancing Princesses. It will be presented at 7PM Friday, November 11, and at 2PM and 7PM on Saturday, November 12. There will be a matinee at 2PM on Sunday, November 13. Tickets are on sale in the district office.

The Owatonna High School play will be Dracula. Performances on November 10, 11 and 12 are at 7PM, with a Sunday matinee at 1:30PM this weekend.
