Halloween Candy Buy-back is November 1

The Owatonna Hospital will offer a Halloween candy buy-back on November 1 from 11AM to 2PM in the main lobby.

Kids will receive $1.50 per pound of candy with a limit of 3 pounds per child.

Children ages 2-12 are eligible for the buy-back and the buy-back is for store-bought, wrapped candy only.

Kids also will receive a healthy snack along with a toothbrush and toothpaste donated by Wottreng Family Dental of Owatonna.

The donated candy will be sent to U.S. troops overseas through Operation Gratitude.

Another attraction will be Breast Cancer Superheroes artist Barbara Porwit, who will be on hand with some superhero-themed activities for children.

Remember to set your clocks back one hour Halloween night so you'll be there at the right time on Sunday. Daylight Savings Time ends at 2AM on Sunday, November 1.
