Good News for Hospitality House

The Owatonna Foundation recently awarded a $20,000 grant to the Hospitality House of Owatonna. The funds will be used to replace the roof.

The Owatonna Foundation has been operating in the Owatonna community since 1957. With support from local businesses and individuals, the Owatonna Foundation has awarded over $11-million in grants and scholarships.

Hospitality House is a homeless shelter for men. It is the only shelter of its kind in the area and serves men over 18 years old. In addition to shelter, Hospitality House offers support in finding permanent housing, job search and accessing other support programs. In 2013, Hospitality House served 126 men with an average stay of 37 days.
