Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th, and no matter your political leanings, or even lack of political opinions, make sure you get out and vote. Yes, it's a mid-term election, but, there are still important races going on, even without a presidential candidate.

In Minnesota all of the ballots will have the following:

All Minnesota voters will have these races on their ballot:

  • U.S. Senator
  • U.S. Senator (special election)
  • U.S. Representative
  • Governor & Lt. Governor
  • Secretary of State
  • State Auditor
  • Attorney General
  • State Representative
  • Judicial offices

Steele County will also be voting for a Sheriff, and School Board and City Council members in Owatonna. To see what a sample ballot looks like for you, click here. You can enter your address and see exactly how your ballet should look when you go to the polls tomorrow.

We don't care who you vote for, just get out and exercise your rights and vote. Unless you have already voted, early or absentee, then, thank you for voting! I plan on voting, and I will bring my daughter with, like I did for the last presidential election. I feel it's too important to not expose her to what voting looks like. And, you get a cool sticker to show off on Social Media.
