From The Heart Run Is May 5

Yes indeed, it is the 10th anniversary of the From The Heart fund raiser on Saturday, May 5 at Lake Kohlmeier. There aren't too many benefits that have grown year to year as fast as this one. There's a Half Marathon/Relay that beings at 8AM along with a Fun Run for Kids at 8:10AM and then a 10k starting at 8:20AM. The 5k begins at 8:30AM. As in past years a spaghetti supper along with silent auction and bake sale will be held on Friday, May 4 from 4-8PM at the Owatonna Middle School. Advance tickets are $7.00 and $8.00 at the door.

Recipients of the proceeds this year include the Joe Wagoner, Tanya Powell, Jim Gleason, Brian Wencl and Heidi Smith families as they battle cancer.

Founder Beth Svenby will be a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town on Thursday, May 3 at 9:40AM.
