The 51st annual Faribault Lions Club Pancake and Sausage Feast is Sunday at the Faribault Eagles Club just off Highway 60. All proceeds to toward Lions projects.

Please bring any old eyeglasses or hearing aids you might have. We recycle them and they are given to people in need.

I've only missed a couple of these events when going overseas on a group trip.

I joined the Lions because of all the great things they do.

Admittedly I'm not a real meetings person, so I participate in the projects I can participate in, pay my dues and shake hands with Lions wherever I see them.

I visited with a couple of Lions club members in Kasson earlier this week after broadcasting a basketball game. I asked them to come over for our Pancake and Sausage Feast. Serving is from 7:30AM to 1:15PM.

Once again my job is making pancakes. Over 50 years of doing anything, you get pretty good at it. I say that because this event is super organized and really hasn't changed much over the years.

The pancakes are as delicious as ever. The sausage links are of the best quality.

The Faribault Emeralds Danceline assists in serving and a lot of Lions work various shifts for the event. My shift runs from 9:30-11:30AM.

You have your choice of coffee, juice or milk to have with your pancakes and sausage.
