The Family Expo will be Saturday, April 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. Hours will be 10AM to 2PM with free admission. A total of 22 vendors will be on hand with items varying from health to master gardeners to Owatonna Park and Rec. Each vendor will be holding a prize drawing.

At noon a a taco-based lunch will be served for a donation to the Steele County Clothesline. Those who bring a toy to donate to the Clothesline will become eligible for a drawing for prizes.

There will also be activities for the kids and bake sale as well.

Maureen Schlobohm of the Clothesline was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town. She stated that they had served about 3,000 people so far in 2017. This includes some repeat recipients.

Donations are accepted at the back door Monday through Saturday. Among the items that are always in demand are housewares. Items such as dishes, crock pots, silverware and kitchen appliances in working condition.
