Engaged 4 Life Event is Wednesday in Owatonna

The Senior Alliance of Steele County is teaming up with Hy-Vee of Owatonna to present Engaged 4 Life. This event runs 9AM to 1PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna with free admission and parking.

Vendors will be on hand with information and screenings on a variety of topics that should be of interest to seniors.

Demonstrations begin at 9:30AM, with Brookdale Owatonna followed by Hy-Vee discussing their online grocery shopping service. This will be followed by a demonstration on reflexology with Claudia Jones. The final demonstration will deal with Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's specialized therapy program for Parkinson's.

This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Simon Mittal, who will discuss "Moments of Life: End of Life Conversations" Light refreshments will be served.

New this year is additional handicapped parking. There will also be a shuttle for those who park at the far ends of the lot. Additionally the event will be held all on the main floor this year.
