The Owatonna Fraternal Order of Eagles will conduct their 56th annual Cancer Auction starting this Friday, February 2 at 6PM and Saturday, February 3 at 4:30PM. The auction features new items, gift cards, gift baskets, event tickets and more. Some of the specific items up for bids include a gun cabinet donated by Christian Brothers Cabinets. This was donated in memory of longtime auctioneer Jeff Kath who passed away earlier this month.  There will be a number of bean bag boards up for bids. One of them is a Minnesota Wild board and the other is a State Champion Owatonna Husky board. Minnesota Wild tickets and a poker table will also be on the auction block.

In 2017 the Owatonna Eagles raised over $60,000 in the fight against cancer with over $52,000 of that coming from the auction. Just the other day it was announced that the 5th district had raised over a million dollars for research during the most recent campaign and they were still  adding up the funds coming in.

The public is invited and food and drink will be available for purchase. More information is available at the Eagles Cancer Auction Facebook page. You may also visit the Owatonna Eagles web page.
