Former Owatonna High School wrestling coach Scot Davis is in his second year at Eden Prairie. The Eagles are close to a school record for wins in a season...for the second straight season.

The Eagles are 18-2 on the season (as of Jan. 14). The school record of 19 victories was set last season.

Davis has the most dual meet wins of any coach in the nation, at 1,033. He brought former Apple Valley coach Jim Jackson onto his staff for this season.

Several of Davis' coaches at Eden Prairie have connections to his time in Owatonna, including Derek Skala, Wade Prestegard and Jeff Becker.

Eden Prairie has two state tournament appearances (1986 and 2010). They are in Section 2AAA with ranked teams Shakopee, Prior Lake and Lakeville South. Eden Prairie is not ranked.
