Dustin Lynch has his future laid out for him in his "Mind Reader" video. The song talks about his love interest's ability to know what will attract him before meeting him, prompting him to dub her a mind reader. And according to the video, there’s a reason for that.

The beautiful female lead lays out tarot cards in front of a crystal ball to open the shot, and Lynch launches into a list of things she knew to do just the right way: her hair, the song on the jukebox, her jeans. The two flirt at a bar and she reads his palm, then they spend some time dancing in the moonlight under a bridge. All the while scenes appear of the woman flipping new tarot cards over.

Toward the end the audience realizes the tarot cards are in the woman’s home rather than the bar, and she’s assumably predicting the outcomes even before Lynch picks her up for the date. The whimsical, bohemian-chic music video was filmed from dusk to dawn in Nashville, which Lynch recalls was a great experience.

"This video was so much fun to create. Here's to great date nights ... And, ladies it's awesome if you make the first move!” he says in a release.

“Mind Reader” was written by Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip and serves as Lynch’s third single from his record Where It’s At. It follows two No. 1 singles, "Hell of a Night" and the album’s title track. Lynch is on tour with Luke Bryan as part of the 2016 leg of the Kill the Lights Tour, after wrapping his own sold out Hell of a Night Tour.
