Owatonna Diaper Drive On Saturday

Elizabeth Keck, social worker and healthcare coordinator at Owatonna Hospital, was our guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town.

The Steele County Diaper Bank was founded by the Owatonna hospital Foundation in 2013. Diapers are collected and then disbursed through the Steele County Food Shelf and Salvation Army for families in need with children age 3 and younger.

Donations of cash and or diapers will be collected this Saturday, June 13, at Cash Wise Foods from 9-10:30AM. Also, donations will be collected at Fareway Foods Store between 11AM and 12:30PM, and at the Owatonna Walmart Supercenter from 1-3PM.

Cash Wise and Fareway Foods will be offering special in-store discounts on diapers during the event. People who make a donation on Saturday will receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone from Culver's of Owatonna and a donation receipt for tax purposes.
