During the Christmas season I'm always on the lookout for beautifully decorated homes. When I was a child my family would often jump into our car and drive around town and look at all the lights. In my childlike wonder I felt that these homes held a kind of Christmas magic that I still feel to this day. I remember there used to be a circle of homes here in Faribault that displayed Santa and his sleigh each year. There would be a pair of reindeer on each roof with the final house featuring Santa in his sleigh. That kind of neighborly planning and cooperation may be gone these days, but the ability to put on a great light display has only gotten better over the years.

Recently I featured a festively decorated house in Owatonna but the cold and time constraints kept me from being able to check out other homes. With the warmer weather, Rich Will, one of our Townsquare Media Account Executives by day and intrepid roving reporter by night, was able to get out and take some video of the lighted houses in Owatonna. Please enjoy!
