CulturFest Is set for this Saturday, September 27th - Rain or Shine at Wilson School. Food, music, dancing, merchandise.

This FREE event runs 10:30 - 4:30 at Wilson School in Owatonna. Culturfest organizers have an indoor plan in place in case of rain! Wilson School is at 325 Meadow Lane.

It promised to be an incredible day of music and dance talents, ethnic foods, authentic merchandise and activities for all ages. This Multi-Cultural experience will offer all a unique opportunity to learn about their neighbors.

Superior performers from around the region gather to share their music and dance in celebration of their heritage. To enhance the day, the festival invites food vendors to sell their tantalizing ethnic cuisine from around the world.

NEW this year is the Amazing CulturRace. The Amazing CultuRace is an event modeled after the popular television show the “The Amazing Race” on CBS. Teams will race on bicycles along a pre-determined route completing seven different cultural challenges at 7 pit-stops. Challenges vary by design to include both physical and mental tasks that will require team members to work together quickly and efficiently. This heart racing and adventurous competition will begin and end at Wilson Elementary on September 27th 2014.
