Crash In Dakota County Kills One From Eagan

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 3:50PM Wednesday, a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by 70-year-old Dennis Swanson of Eagan was involved in a head-on crash on Highway 50 at the intersection of Dark Horse Lane in Dakota County.

Swanson's vehicle struck a 2016 International semi driven by 44-year-old Joseph Icenogel of Illinois. Swanson was dead at that scene and Icenogel was not injured.

Authorities are still investigating why Swanson's vehicle crossed the center line and struck the truck. Roads were dry at the time of the crash.
