Community Foundation of Ellendale Accepting Donations of Corn

The Community Foundation of Ellendale is a non-profit whose mission is to strengthen and enhance the Ellendale area community.

The CFE announces that area farmers may donate corn to the cause. Accounts have been set up at Sun Opta and Crystal Valley in Hope and at CFS in Clarks Grove. Donated crops should be earmarked for the Community Foundation of Ellendale.

The CFE is seeking donations toward the renovation of the Ellendale Community Center. So far around $30,000 has been spent by adding ADA compliant doors and renovating both bathrooms.

The CFE is also accepting donations for the CFE Endowment Fund. The funds are invested through the Southeren Minnesota Initiative Foundation and the CFE then receives a portion of the interest to reinvest into the Ellendale area. The goal is to reach $300,000 for the endowment.
