In my quest for beautiful Christmas lights, I thought I'd share with you one of the most spectacular and unique tribute to the holidays that I've ever seen. If you're heading south out of Faribault or north out of Medford on I-35 at night you have seen it as well because it lights up the night just off the west side of the highway. I'm talking about, of course, the lone tree that is completely wrapped in white lights accompanied by a massive, brilliant blue star.

I'm not sure how much time it must take to wrap that tree with the hundreds of lights, but I'm sure it must take quite a few hours. In the past it was just the lone tree, which was beautiful on its own, but adding in the star was just the right touch.

I have been waiting for it to snow enough that the ground would be completely covered with the fluffy white stuff so that I could perfectly capture the glow that's created from the tree. I finally got it this weekend and drove out there to take some pictures last night.

I'm still looking for those places of wondrous Christmas light magic that you like to bring your family out to see each year. Please fell free to drop me a line at mike.eiler@townsquaremedia.com and let me know where they're at so that I can share them with our listeners.
