Laura Resler, Executive Director of the Steele County Historical Society stopped by AM 1390 for Our Talk of the Town. This weekend it's the Christmas in the Village at the Village of Yesteryear.

Activities include the luminary lit village and strolling carolers from 4:30 till 8:30 Friday night. There will also be a Christmas Carol sing along at the Saco Church starting at 5:30. A wild rice soup and chili supper will be served in the History Center from 4:30 till 6:30 on Friday evening.

Saturday events include entertainment from the Senior Place Golden Tones at 10:45  followed by the Nordic Notes, OHS Carolers and Trinity Church Bell Choir. The Artisan market will be open on Saturday and the Nortonna Lodge Meatball Supper will be served from 5 till 7pm.

The Historical Holiday House Tour will be Sunday the 7th from noon till 5. Tickets are on sale now at the History Center or at any of the homes on the tour on Sunday.
